Thanks to its location on the north-south axis (Lötschberg-Simplon) Spiez is easily accessible by train.

The journey takes 90 minutes from Basel, and from Milan only 2½ hours.

Should you prefer a more tranquil arrival, the boat to Spiez can be boarded in either Thun or Interlaken.

The walk to the apartment from the train station or the boat jetty is 5-10 minutes.

If you are traveling by car, parking is provided at the house.

Renate & Hans Burkhart

Having lived on Lake Thun for many years, we have enjoyed and appreciated the unique natural beauty of the region, its cultural offerings, and the many possibilities for excursions and sporting activities. In our more than 100 year old house we feel very comfortable.

From 2012-14 we renovated and extended the attic, adding a photovoltaic system to the roof and developing the space into a bright and attractive open plan 103m2 apartment with carefully selected furniture pieces, art objects and a lot of love in the details.
